Welcome Message by Prof. Meles Andom, AUU Founder & President

Welcome to African Union University (AUU), a premier institution dedicated to fostering academic excellence, innovative research, and community development. At AUU, we believe in the power of education to transform lives and societies. Our mission is to produce graduates who are not only academically competent but also passionate about making a positive impact in their communities.

I take this opportunity to send my warm congratulations to the Class of 2020 for excellently completing their studies. I join the African Union University community in celebrating the fruits of passion, perseverance, inspiring ability, and consistency in pursuit of excellence displayed by our graduands.

I recognize the continued endeavour by the University fraternity in imparting these graduands with appropriate knowledge and skills that they will put to proper use in creating solutions to the challenges facing our Country and the globe today. This has been realized after the University's splendid hard work in giving the best skills and tools which ensures production of graduands who will swiftly adapt to today’s dynamic environment.

Hardly seven years, the Institution has moved from its nascent level to the well-grounded University it has become, able to claim its rightful place amongst the giants in the sector. Positive feedback with respect to the quality of our graduates has been streaming in from various organizations. This is a confirmation that the African Union University has occupied its rightful place among other universities in the USA.

I thank the Government of the USA for significantly supporting the African Union University's growth strategy. With this support, the University will undoubtedly realize its mandate and the Country’s expectations.

I assure all our stakeholders that I will endeavour to offer the necessary support to the University to propel it to be among the great institutions of higher learning in the world.

I once again congratulate the Class of 2020 graduands for this outstanding achievement.
